Microsoft, the largest software producer in the world, presented details of Bing, the new search tool that will launch soon and hopes to break the monopoly imposed by the Google search engine, inform UK specialist publications.
The new service will begin to work in beta since this weekend and will be fully operational in networks around the world (worldwide) as of June 3.Â
Bing is created so as to help users find information in a quick and effective as trying to present and search engines. The novelty lies, however, in an index which will provide improved results more relevant to the needs of consumers.Â
The search tool Bing will get a daily update of the homepage and share searches in categories such as shopping, travel, news, videos and maps. Ciao, site shop and comparisons which Microsoft launched in October 2008, will be integrated into the Big and the facility provided by website MSN Shopping.Â
“We believe that the internet search is still on top and there are many things that users can ask and expect from an online search service,” said John Mangelaars, deputy department online consumers in the Microsoft.Â
Both Google and Yahoo have introduced recently new features to its search engine to attract users’ interests, thus making the most difficult mission and Microsoft.
